I had a very reserved new year this year with a nice home cooked meal of Beef Wellington, a reserved but enjoyable amount of alcohol and the customary Jools Holand Hootenanny which we excellent. I was especially pleased at the return of Seasick Steve whose performance both last year and this was supreme!

Steve Wold aka Seasick Steve, is an American bluesman, although he denies that what he plays as being blues, and calls himself “a song and dance man”. Jools Holand Hootenanny 2007/2008

Last weekend, along with 80,000 Festival goers enjoyed a second year at Oxegen. We armed ourselves with Wellies, and full rain gear on Saturday and enjoyed Muse, Snow Patrol, Kings Of Leon, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Gossip, Jet and Ocean Colour Scene and on Sunday The Killers, Razorlight, Arcade Fire, The Kooks, Block Party and the Klaxons and let me just say I was not dissappointed.
