Smashing Magazine just celebrated their 1st anniversary. This “smashing” blog attempts to address the important issues, trends and developments related to design and web-development.

In another fantastic article they have asked 50 designers 6 questions and in this first part these extremely talented designers share their knowledge and experience.

In this part 1 of the article the first three questions asked were:

  • What is one typical myth about web-development (which is not true)?
  • What is one bulletproof method to get over creativity block?
  • What is one thing you wish you knew before you’ve started programming/designing/… ?

In proofing the final design which was ok’d by the boss I found that when I printed it the card came out in only yellow .. this was much to my despair and after hours of tweaking the colours I found the problem was with my printer cartridge.

Anyway to cut a very long story short I found this link very helpful in understanding the difference between RGB and CYMK
